<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Interesting how people differ. I wouldn't think of staying home just because I didn't have someone to go with. I've done solo road trips to see shows. And looking halfway decent? Definately preferable but I've just gotten up, have bed hair and am wearing a t-shirt covered in dog hair. If someone told me I could see SD if I left home right now I'd throw on a pair of jeans and be out of here in 5 minutes.Quote:

HAHA! Yeah, it is funny how people differ. I'm a total girly girl. My lil' sis on the other hand is gorgoues, but she go outs without any make-up on, jeans, t-shirt and tennies or slippers, and runs her fingers thru her hair. If she puts a barrette in her hair, then she's "dressed up". Occasionally I can talk her into wearing lipstick. She goes solo all the time to the bars.
I actually like going solo to shows, and I've done it alot, cause its alot less hassle. But, only the shows that I'm going to see alot of people I know. Like tonights show for example, I'll know alot of people there. Those are always the funnest (especially solo).
<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">See.. If it wasn't a private show, I would have gone alone. I usually prefer to go solo to shows, but like the company while I wait for the show to start. I guess there was just too many factors against me going, being broke was the biggest. Zero gas = no going. So yeah, ghostly, If I had half a tank of gas and $10 cash, my post would have been more of a brag right then sucha shame. And Erica, have fun at your show, lemme know how it goes. Still trying to figure out the details with Castaways closing down. Gabby's voicemail is full, so I cant leave a message. I dont even know if he knows yet, but he was supposed to play at Castaways on Saturday and the awards party at Silver Dollar on Sunday. He should be one of the first to get a heads up. If they have it figured out yet, I'll hear about it tonight. Mom13, Junkie, are you gals going to be around?
